He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Pence and Ethel Pence (Weber); his former wife Delores Campbell Pence; and his brothers, Dale (Martha) and Gale Pence.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Gensler; his great grandchild Ava Sellers; his children, Gayle Shults (Kirk) of Middleton, ID, Diane Grabiak (Sparky Halper) of Carpinteria, CA, Laurie Weinke (Jamie) of Grand Forks, ND and Richard Pence (Robert Cozzens) of Clifton, VA; his stepchildren, Darlene Verno (Demari Garth) of Hubbard, OH, Daniel Verno (Jamie) of Belle Vernon, PA and David Verno; and his sister-in-law Laverne Pence.
