She was predeceased by: her parents, LeRoy Shick and Lillian Mortimer Shick; and her husband Robert R. Shaffer. She is survived by: her children, Robert Shaffer (Jo), Jeff Shaffer and Jennie Feldkamp (David); her siblings, LeRoy "Skip" Shick (Sherri), Dottie Burg (Jim) and Shirley Candiotti (Art); her grandchildren, Zachory Shaffer (April) and Jacob Shaffer (Sarah); and her great grandchildren, Owen, Harrison, Waylon, Evelyn, Lucy and Naomi.
Her family suggests memorial donations be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
