She was predeceased by: her parents, LeRoy Saylor and Margaret Saylor (Hicks); her husband George W. Clapper; her brothers, Jack and Donald Saylor; and her daughter-in-law Pamela Clapper.
She is survived by: her children, Philip W. Clapper of Clark, Aimee D. Clapper (Francis Jensen) of Sharon and Karen S. Clapper of Hermitage; her grandchildren, Neely, Summer, Whitney, Jessica and Matthew; her great grandchildren, Gianna, Isabella, Antonia, Logan and Donovan; and her great great grandchild Rocco.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Hickory United Methodist Church.
