He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Bayer (Treml) and Frank Bayer; and his wife Stella Bayer (Drapola). He is survived by: his children, Cindy Bayer, Jerry Bayer (Deborah J.) and Robert Bayer (Linda); his sisters, Maryann Bonanni, Helen Frances Benes (Theresa DeGerolamo) and Hermitage; and his grandchildren, Alta Roqueplot and Livia Henderson. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
