Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Mary Sobey of Hermitage, Pennsylvania, who passed away at the age of 103, on January 31, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Noga and Anna Noga (Hoyney); her husband Andrew Sobey; her siblings, Anna Kapusta, Pauline Batcher, Mildred Kapusta, Helen Chlpka, Margaret Noga, Joseph, John and Peter Noga; and her son-in-law Michael Paoletta.
She is survived by: her children, Arlene Paoletta (Mary) of Mechanicsburg, Margie Sobey of Aurora, CO, Karen Presley (Mark) of Conneaut, OH, Andrew Sobey, Jr. (Patricia) of Fenton, MO and Charles Sobey (Roxana) of Plano, TX; her grandchildren, Mark Presley (Candace), Adam Presley (Jaime), Melissa Presley, Drew Sobey, Casey Sobey (Janelle), Chase Sobey and Isabella Sobey; and her great grandchildren, Mark Presley, Brad Presley, Stephen Presley, Alaina Donell, Marlie Reed, Owen Reed, Jonathon Presley, Adam Presley, Madelyn Presley and Lydia Presley.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church (3325 Morefield Rd, Hermitage, PA 16148).
The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 3325 Morefield Rd., Hermitage, PA 16148; or to the donor's choice.
