Mark L. Szugye Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 14, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Mark L. Szugye of Hermitage, Pennsylvania, born in Sharon, Pennsylvania. Though Mark may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mark touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He is survived by: his wife Deborah Szugye (Biro); his son Kevin Szugye of Frederick, MD; his grandchildren, Abigail and William Szugye; his stepdaughter Jessica Knapp of Bartonville, IL; and his siblings, Patti Fill (David), Rosemary Parameter (Jim) of Charlotte, NC, Tina Bianco (Bill) and Michael Szugye (B. J.) of Macedonia, OH. He is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews, and 26 great-nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the J. Bradley McGonigle F. H. & Crematory, Inc. - Sharon (1090 E State St, Sharon, PA 16146). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
