It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard Thiel Jr. of Hermitage, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 28, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elizabeth Thiel (McKenzie) and Leonard Thiel Sr.; his wife Elaine Thiel (Sauve); his children, Dawn Jones (Richard) of Sharpsville, Rachelle Anderson (Ronald) of Pennfield, N. Y., Kimberly Schober (Leonard) of Niles, Ohio, Eric Thiel (Carol) of Hickory Township and Kirk Thiel (Teresa) of Butler; his brothers, James Thiel of Detroit and Bruce Thiel (Linda) of Dexter, Mich.; and his grandchildren, Sharilynn, Lindsay, Ryan, Aaron, Philip, Joshua, Lydia, Jessica, Jennifer, Jordan, Jade, Corrine and Zachary. He was also cherished by 11 great-grandchildren.
