He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew N. Mattson and Helen Mattson (Stearns); his wife Sheridan Lynn Simpson; and his pet Chance. He is survived by: his children, Brenda Truchan (Wayne) of Masury, OH, Lori Harper (Perry) of Hermitage and Bruce Mattson (Patty) of West Middlesex; his stepdaughters, Kelly Kimmel (David) of Hubbard, OH and Stacy Fill (Timothy) of Lake Worth, FL; his grandchildren, Jolene, Jessie, Shane, Derek, Chad, Rachel and Sophia; and his siblings, James Mattson (Launi) and Dahlin of Ocean Side, CA.. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be directed to Sharon Regional Health System Hospice, 1955 Shenango Valley Fwy., Hermitage, PA 16148.
