He was predeceased by: his parent Wendlin Dobler; his siblings, Paul Dobler and Maria Mireiter; and his stepbrother Johann Piocker. He is survived by: his parent Katharina Dobler (Grosseibl); his wives, Anna Maria Kolik and Anna Dobler; his children, Caroline Covert (Wayne), Erich J. Dobler (Sandra) and Steven N. Dobler (Karen); his grandchildren, Paige Poprocky (Zachary), Regan Covert, Claire Covert, Ethan Dobler and Sydney Dobler; his stepgrandchildren, Jody Trumbull, Gary Fennel, Robert Fennel and Heather Smithson; and also Hermitage.
