He was predeceased by: his parents, Santo Vilasi and Anna Vilasi (LaTella); his sons, Joseph Paul Vilasi, Jr. and Dr. Peter John Vilasi; his sisters, Mary DelVilano, Agatha DeRitis and Lucy Vilasi; his parents-in-law, Jeddie and Myrtle MacMillan; and his siblings-in-law, Joan MacMillan, Ruth Jurista and John MacMillan.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy MacMillan; his daughters, Donna Powers (Dale) of Lockport, NY and Angela McConnell (Matthew) of Hermitage; and his daughters-in-law, Susan Vilasi of Hermitage, Laura Vilasi of Nazareth, PA and Shelley Vilasi of Binghamton. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, four and a half great grandchildren.
