It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Apa of Hermitage, Pennsylvania, born in Sharon, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 20, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Giovanni Apa and Annetta Apa (Perri); his sister Antoinette Sabella; his brother-in-law Reverend Ty Sabella; and his grandson Christopher Donnelly.

He is survived by: his wife Doris M. Welches; his children, Rhonda Guerino-Chalenor (Steven) of Hermitage, PA, Brenda Apa Burleson (Jim) of West Middlesex, PA and John P. Apa (Tracy) of Hermitage, PA; his adoptive daughter Connie Muna of Farrell, PA.; his grandchildren, Allyson Knott (Fred) of Wrightstown, NJ, Julia Hilderhoff (Bill) of Irwin, PA, Natalie Votaw (Derek) of Knoxville, TN, John T. Apa (Jamie) of Wake Forest, NC and Justine Apa (Cody Smith) of Girard, OH.; and his sister Joanne Jackson (Farrell) of Naples, FL. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
