With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan Hawk (Hermitage, Pennsylvania), born in Brookville, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 15, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertha Kunselman and Harry Kunselman; her husband Edwin O. Hawk; her son Harry R. Hawk; and her siblings, Patricia Loesch, Lenore North, Mary McKibben and Gene Kunselman.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia J. Greeno (John) and Edwin A. Hawk (Ali); her daughter-in-law Sue Hawk; and her grandchildren, Emily, James Greeno and Caleb Hawk (Frida). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stephen J Sherman Funeral Home (2201 Highland Rd, Hermitage, PA 16148). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Central Christian Church (218 Meadowbrook Rd, Hermitage, PA 16148).
