He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen J. Butala and Maria Butala (Robinson); his wife Edythe Butala (Stafford); his sister Virginia Smith; his son-in-law Ray Giovanelli; and his grandchildren, Bryan Giovanelli and Lisa Rosa.
He is survived by: his children, Judy Giovanelli and Stephen Butala (Marianne); his grandchildren, Robin Haun (Chuck), Jennifer Butala and Ray Giovanelli (Kelly); and his great grandchildren, Kennedy, Jackson, Liam, Logan, Derek, Ethan and Parker.
Due to concerns presented by the Covid-19 virus, all services will be held privately.
