He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph E. Shingledecker and Aletha Shingledecker (Ryhal); and his brothers, Charles, Fred and Ernie Shingledecker.
He is survived by: his stepdaughter Brenda Santiago; and his siblings, Mona Morton of Sharon and Ralph Shingledecker (Paula) of Hermitage. He is also survived by three step-grandchildren.
