James G. Gilkey Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James G. Gilkey of Hermitage, Pennsylvania, born in Sharon, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 17, 2025 at the age of 77. He was predeceased by: his brother Robert Gilkey. He is survived by: his wife Renee Gilkey (Shedd); his children, Christopher Gilkey (Brandy) of Austin, TX, Anne Adkins of Sharon, Jennifer Davis of Masury and Jessica Fairchild (Kurt) of Warren, OH; his sister Debra Robinson (Eddie) of Masury, OH; and his grandchildren, Candace Campbell, Jager, Rylee Davis, Makenzie and Taylor Fairchild. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
The military honors was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 5:00 PM at the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. (1090 E State St, Sharon, PA 16146). Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 5:15 PM to 7:00 PM at the J. Bradley McGonigle F. H. & Crematory, Inc. - Sharon (1090 E State St, Sharon, PA 16146).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Shenango Valley Animal Shelter, 2599 Broadway Ave., Hermitage, PA 16148.
