We are sad to announce that on May 4, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Jacqueline Shaffer of Hermitage, Pennsylvania, born in Sharon, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Hutchison and Chloie Hutchison (Livermore); her son Dennis A. Shaffer; and her siblings, Bette Sulek, Shirley Negrea and William "Bill" Hutchison.
She is survived by: her husband Deane F. Shaffer; her children, Diane French (Jerry) of Bristow, VA, Terry D. Shaffer, MD (Mary) and Jerry Shaffer (Mary) of Chambersburg, PA; and her daughter-in-law Judy Shaffer. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
The Shaffer family is forever grateful to every single member of the exemplary and loving staff in the Personal Care Unit of St. John XXIII Home, Dr. Mathew Crago and his staff, and Nancy Balint, Jackie's devoted caregiver during the pandemic.
