He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving Niemi, and Pauline Niemi, Sr. (Maheras); and his brother John Niemi. He is survived by: his wife Naomi Hauger; his sons, Tim Niemi (Tracy) of Danville, CA and Chris Niemi (Jeshabel) of Tucson, AZ; his grandchildren, Jessica Niemi, Naomi and Levi Niemi-Romero; his siblings, Sharon Ference (Francis), Diane Emery and Ted Niemi (Derise); and his pet Ellie.
