It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Sinkus of Hermitage, Pennsylvania, born in Sharpsville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 14, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Banas and Helen Banas (Dirgo); her son Edward Sinkus; and her siblings, Mary Serafin, Ann Ondich, Sue Sulick, John and Michael Banas.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Horgos (John), Robert Sinkus (Dina) of Irvine, CA, David Sinkus (Bonnie Perry) and Richard Sinkus (Jean); her grandchildren, David Sinkus, Melinda O'Neill, Jessica and Jared Horgos; her great grandchild Liam O'Neill; and her sister Margie Giambattista (Al) of Youngstown, OH..
The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to an animal shelter of the donor's choice.
