He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry G. McKelvey, Sr. and Margaret McKelvey (Clayton); his stepson Walter Lyons; and his sisters, Margaret "Sis" McKelvey, Anne McKelvey and Virginia Leonard.
He is survived by: his sons, Jamie McKelvey (Mila) of Quinton, VA, Harry G. McKelvey, III (Kristen) and Steven McKelvey; his stepson David Lyons (Joan); and his brother Jim McKelvey (Donna) of Hartford, OH. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
