He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hoffman and Lucille Hoffman (Uber); and his sister Sandra Stewart. He is survived by: his children, Melissa Keen (Douglas) and Richard Hoffman (Lynda); and his grandchildren, Garth Hoffman (Rachel), Orion Hoffman (Hannah), Declan Hoffman and Shae Keen.
