She was predeceased by: her parents, Esther Green (Seidel) and Earl Thompson; her daughter Angela McDermitt; and her brother Edward Thompson. She is survived by: her husband Elmer E. Young Sr.; her daughter Christina McDermitt (Rick L. Edwards Jr.) of Transfer; her siblings, Jayne Brardy of Fredericktown, Dolly Heim (Matt) of Greenville, Earl Thompson (Bonnie) of Grove City and David Thompson (Pat Ressman) of Greenville; and her grandson Justin McDermitt of Transfer. She is also survived by three stepsons; four stepdaughters; 14 step-grandchildren.
