She was predeceased by: her sons, Gregory Ragster and Rev. Jonathan Ragster; her husband Johnson Ragster, Jr.; her parents, Viola Greene Gunther (Willie) and Belton Crim (Alfretta); and her nephew Reuben Austin, Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Renee, Edwin Ragster of Sharon, PA and Brenda Layne (Victor) of Columbus, OH; and her siblings, Olive Malloy, Helen Locke, Francis Gordon, Phyllis Carter and Raymond Gunther. She is also survived by Other family members include a devoted niece, other special nieces and nephews and loving cousins.
