With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edwin J. Benedict of Hermitage, Pennsylvania, born in New Castle, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 7, 2020 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Benedict and Mary Benedict (Flynn). He is survived by: his wife Janis; his daughters, Kara Beresh (Zach) of Pittsburgh and Marissa Fonzi (Ryan) of North Huntingdon, PA; his grandchildren, Alaina and Owen Fonzi; and his brothers, Denny Benedict (Nancy) of New Castle, Marty Benedict of Pittsburgh, Jerry Benedict (Vicki) of New Castle and Fran Benedict (Debbie) of New Castle. He is also survived by his daughters, sons-in-law and two grandchildren.
Mask and social distancing will be required at the church.
