He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosco Smith and Bertha Smith (Steele); his wife Barbara Smith (Fenstermaker); his siblings, Shirley O'Neil and David Smith; his great grandchild Brooks Hawley; and his son-in-law Gary Klingensmith.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Paulitz of Masury, OH and Denise Hawley (Jim) of Vienna, OH; and his sister Connie Smith (Gene) of Strattanville, PA. He is also survived by six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
