She was predeceased by: her parents, Twila Stokes (Miller) and Clem M. Stokes; her husband Frank V. Sherman; and her siblings, Dorothy and Robert.
She is survived by: her children, Reverend Frank M. Sherman (Becky) of Martinsburg, Albert C. Sherman (Kathy) of New Port Richey, Twila R. Sisk of Tallahassee and Stephen J. Sherman (Kathie) of Transfer, Pennsylvania.; and her grandchildren, David Dixon (Serena), Beth Ann Dixon, Albert Sherman, Lori Lievre (AJ), Jason Sherman (Joelisa), Elizabeth Sullivan (Christopher), Stephen J. Sherman, II (Angelia) and Christopher Sisk. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
