She was predeceased by: her parents, James Thompson and Jennie Thompson (Ellison); her daughter Cynthia Gurrera; and her siblings, Thelma Oliver, Agnes Morris, James and William Thompson.
She is survived by: her son Brad; her grandsons, Lukas and Ronnie; her husband Salvatore Tate; her children, Brenda Schmalz (Robert) of Scottsdale, AZ, Bradley Tate of Hermitage and James Tate (Tracy) of Apex, NC; her son-in-law Richard Gurrera; and her grandchildren, Ronald, Andrew, Hannah Tate, Brian, Nicholas Schmalz and Zachary Schmalz.
Due to Covid-19, there are no services at this time.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be directed to the Shenango Valley YMCA, 925 North Hermitage Rd., Hermitage, PA 16148; The Singletons of Phoenix, AZ, 13832 North 32nd St., Suite 134 B, Phoenix, AZ 85032; or a charity of the donor's choice.
