He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Tate and Katherine Tate; his sons-in-law, Melvin Sayers and Daniel Moffett; and his brother Robert Tate.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Elia; and his children, Debby Staul (Greg), Celeste Sayers of Hermitage, Renee Rubano (Bob) of McDonald, OH, Christine Moffett of Erie, PA, Albert Tate, Keith Tate (Marie) of Portersville, PA, Brian Taylor (Thereza) and Brazil. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
