We are sad to announce that on August 20, 2023, at the age of 97, Robert Conrad Erkel of Herminie, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer P. Erkel and Catherine Naughton Erkel; and his siblings, Elmer Jr., Catherine Eileen McClymont, John (Joe), Thomas and Helen Bernice Baird.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Merrill; and his children, Nancy Beno Higdon (Joe) of Elizabeth, Susan Clark (John) of Cranberry Township, Barbara Stookey-Keller (Rich) of Herminie and Tim (Darlene) of Tum Tum. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 4 step grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 4 step great grandchildren.
