Richard Espey Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 25, 2023, at the age of 64, Richard Espey (Herminie, Pennsylvania), born in Greensburg, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Espey and Charlotte Mae Espey Sr. (Lander); his brother Robert L. "Bob" Espey Jr.; and his mother-in-law Nora Hoke Funk. He is survived by: his wife Amy Espey (Funk); his daughters, Deborah Foster (Steve) of Carlisle and Shelley Flory (Joe) of Newville; his siblings, Randy Espey (Mary) of Kentucky and Rhonda Gourdie (Jeff) of Hunker; his niece Christa Brucker (Alex); his nephew Connor Gourdie; and his father-in-law Clyde R. Funk of New Brighton. He is also survived by his family, friends and neighbors.
