He is survived by: his wife JoAnne Wilson (McGraw); his children, Kevin Wilson (Joan), Sharlene Winbush, Darlene Winbush and Constance "Conni" Wilson-Springer (Nate); his grandchildren, Chanel, James Jr., Malcom, Devin, Brielle, Jordan, Jaiden, Raven and Tiersa; and his sister Susan Cuyler.
