He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry McCardle and Sarah "Sally" McCardle (Nicolson). He is survived by: his wife Justina R. McCardle (Pacala); his sons, Stewart (Michelle) of Parsippany, NJ, Christopher of Bethlehem and Kevin (Jessica) of Philadelphia; his siblings, Stewart (Margaret) of Glasgow and Aileen (Alex Candetti) of Adelaide, Australia; his grandchildren, Marcus, Liam, Mia, Mikayla, Keira and Connor; and his brothers-in-law, Russel Pacala (Beverly) of Bethlehem and Eric Pacala (Joan) of Easton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
