She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Mutter and Ada Mutter (Daniels); her siblings, Eleanor, Janet Herrlinger, Gerald and Oscar Mutter; and her son Joseph Riggio Jr..

She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Ditze (Denis), CarolAnn Riggio and Michele Tersigni (Terry); her daughter-in-law Linda Riggio (Joseph); her sisters, Sandra Stasak (William) and Sharon Scrafano (Ed); her sister-in-law Claire Mutter (Gerald); and her cousin Shirley Schroeder. She is also survived by Nine grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.
