It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elsie M. Yeakel of Hellertown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 14, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Stewart W. Yeakel, Sr.; her parents, Walter Strawn and Bessie Strawn (Harrison); her children, Stewart W. Jr. and Brenda Lee Pfeiffer; and her siblings, Howard, Walter, Edith, Virginia, Gladys and Harold.
She is survived by: her children, Susan M. of Bethlehem and Brian W. (Tammy) of Hellertown. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. (326 Main St, Hellertown, PA 18055). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Union Cemetery of Hellertown (85 Main St, Hellertown, PA 18055). A reception will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Carriage House (326 Main St, Hellertown, PA 18055).
