“My sincere condolences to Steve's family. I got to know Steve back in the 60's when he started racing late model stock and sprint cars. I was a teenager working in a garage in Harwood and would help Steve work on the car and go to the track with him to offer any help I could. I often think of the times we spent together and all the things I learned from him. He was truly a great person and I am sure will be missed by all. Sincerely, John Cherko”
