He was predeceased by: his father Frank A. Roth. He is survived by: his mother Josephine C. Roth (Poper); his siblings, Julia Ament (Steven) and Frank Zane Roth of Reading, PA; his niece Jaimie J. Nava (Christopher); and his nephew Zachary R. Moyer.

Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society.
