It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rafael Marrero of Hazleton, Pennsylvania, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Catalina Pichardo-Marrero; his children, Maria Avila, Angelica Perrin, Marisol Denegri, Dulce Polanco, Luis Chavez, Sonia Chavez and Ana Lora; his siblings, Jose, Chu, Carmin and Isabel Marrero; and his former wife Grinilda Marrero. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren.
