He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Tranguch and Catherine Tranguch (Crann); his son Michael Frank; his parents-in-law, Frank and Alice Ferenda; his son-in-law Robert Longazel; and his grandson Jacob Mackunis.
He is survived by: his wife Mary "Sophia" Ferenda; his daughters, Kathy Lagana (Gary), Lattimer, Mary Catherine Longazel (James) and Gerine Mackunis (Ken); his grandchildren, Jennielle Loskey (John), Michael Lagana (Daniell), Gary Lagana Jr. (Stephanie), Marisa Lagana (Adam Arlotto), Nicholas Longazel, Jackson and Joshua Mackunis; his great grandchildren, Tessa, Charles Eger, Ethan and Elliana Lagana; his close friend Scruffy; and his siblings, Ben Tranguch (Nancy), Angelo Tranguch (Penny), Theresa Cusatis and Marietta Bartek. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
