He is survived by: his mother Mary Jane Merola; his daughters, Ashley Merola (Malcom Columbo) and Lauren Merola (Zach Petrosky) of State College, PA; his former wife Lisa Penkala; his siblings, Samuel Rocco Merola Jr. (Rose) and Elena Timko (George); his nieces and nephews, Virginia Merola Herzog (Josh), Samuel Merola of Jupiter, FL, Michael Merola (Kim), Beltzville, Ryan Merola, Kayla Merola Medina (Sam), Georgie Timko, Lauren Timko Werner (Steven) and Erin Timko of Annapolis, MD.; his great-nieces, Olivia Merola, Victoria Werner and Quinn Timko; and his great-nephew Logan Merola. He is also survived by his family, and his many friends.
