He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl Carls (Schell) and Christopher Carls; and his brother David Carls. He is survived by: his wife Angela Carls (Ackerman); and his children, Michael Carls, Cheryl Carls Fritz, Kathy Carls Niles, Julie Carls Enck, David Carls, Dale Carls and Tommy Carls. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
