She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael J. Semicek and Rita M. Shuda Semicek; and her daughter Maria Zaylskus. She is survived by: her husband John "Jack" Zaylskus; her daughter Shannon (Mark Sodl); her brother Michael Semicek; and her grandson Zachary Gerber of Mt. Carmel.
