It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Waneta LaVerne (Bish) Copenhaver (Hawthorn, Pennsylvania), who passed away on October 1, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd "Jack" Bish and Martha Bish (Lorenz); her husband William T. "Bill" Copenhaver; her sister Bertha Barrett; and her granddaughter-in-law Katie Kiley Gardner.
She is survived by: her sister Betty Johnson of Brazil, Indiana; her children, Louise Gardner (David) of Franklin, Dennis Copenhaver (Cynthia) of Fairmount City, PA, Bill Copenhaver of Sligo, PA and Melinda Sue Becerra (Jose) of Rochester, WA; her daughter-in-law Doreen Stiglitz (Leo) of Clarion, PA.; her grandchildren, Daniel Gardner (Lisa), Karen Crawford (Weston), Daniel Copenhaver (Kristina), Jacob Gardner (Debby), Jennifer Copenhaver, Crystal Shaffer (Ben), Michael Copenhaver, Brian Copenhaver (Jessica), Joseph Copenhaver (Lauren), Elizabeth Becerra, Christopher Copenhaver (Natalie) and Fallon Kelly (Jen); her great grandchildren, Nicole Crawford, Trestin Copenhaver (Brooke), Madison Copenhaver, Kerry Ann Copenhaver, Abigail Crawford, Natalie Shaffer, Evan Gardner, Logan Copenhaver, Adeline Crawford, Anna Shaffer, Landon Copenhaver and James Shaffer; and her great great grandchildren, Oliver Copenhaver and Theodore Copenhaver.
