He was predeceased by: his parents, William George Adams and Mabel Irene Adams Thompson (Schreckengost); and his siblings, George Adams, Theodore "Baldy" Adams and Pauline "Boose" Schreckengost.
He is survived by: his children, William "Bill" Adams (Julie) and Brenda Crissman (Gary) of Putneyville; his grandchildren, Jennifer Shreckengost of Putneyville, Shane Adams of Putneyville, Bryon Adams of Putneyville and Cory Adams of Oak Ridge; and his great grandchildren, Ashley Adams, Makenzie Adams, Hannah Adams, Karter Adams and Jeffrey Shreckengost. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
