She was predeceased by: her parents, Ferdinand Nonnenmacher and Agnes Nonnenmacher; her husband Frederick Young; and her siblings, Clarence (Elsie), Bernard (Joyce), Eugene (Norma), John Nonnenmacher, Marie Coligan and Teresa Nonnenmacher.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel Young (Janine), Terence Young (Jaymie), Peggy Gardner (Glenn), Patricia Courtright (Chris), John Young (Tina Bayly) and Jennifer Mander (Robert); her grandchildren, Mary Young, Rebecca Patterson, Joseph Young, Kristin Giordano, Steven Young, Glenn Gardner, Michael Gardner, Sarah Gardner, Lauren Courtright, Melissa Young, Zachary Mander, Ashley Warring, Kaitlyn Mander and Karly Mander; her sisters, Pauline Theobald (Jack) and Helene Niekrewicz (Frank); and her sister-in-law Kathy Nonnenmacher.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hessling Murray Funeral Home (428 Main St, Honesdale, PA 18431). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Magdelen Church (416 Church St, Honesdale, PA 18431).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to St. John the Evangelist Parish, 414 Church Street, Honesdale, PA 18431 or Hospice of the Sacred Heart, 100 William Street, Dunmore, PA 18510.
