With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Denis Gaines (Hawley, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 10, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Gaines and Edythe Gaines; and his sibling Mallory Gaines. He is survived by: his spouse Camari Tomlin; his close friends, Stone, Davis, West, Apple, Revlon and Häagen-Dazs; his children, Cory, Tami, Daryl and Derek; his niece Amber; his grandchildren, Noah, Beau, Haili, Shane, Bria, Trey, Makayla, Marisa, Tyler, Sienna, Julius and Kaleb; his great grandchild Mila; and his brother-in-law Randy. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Teeters' Funeral Chapel, Inc. (505 Church St, Hawley, PA 18428). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Teeters' East Chapel (507 Church St, Hawley, PA 18428).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Tafton Fire Company & EMS, 235 Route 507, P.O. Box 5, Tafton, PA 18464-0005 in Richard's name.
