With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan Katz of Hawley, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 19, 2024 at the age of 76. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan Katz to pay them a last tribute.
Though Joan may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joan touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her son Justin. She is survived by: her husband Joel; her grandsons, Kyle and Ethan; and her siblings, Ellen Gural (Dennis) and Edwin Zdanowicz (Cheryl). She is also survived by her loving nieces and many loving friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Memorial (113 S Farview Ave, Paramus, NJ 07652). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
