He was predeceased by: his parents, Georg Erker and Antonia Erker (Lobisser); and his siblings, George, Arnold, Leopoldine and Maria.
He is survived by: his wife Therese Erker (Vogrin); his son Ferdinand J. Erker; his son-in-law Cory Gnazzo of Brooklyn, NY; and his sister Helga Jaklitsch (Joseph) of Villach, Austria..
