It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bruce D. Austin of Hawley, Pennsylvania, born in Honesdale, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 17, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia J. Austin (Conklin); and his parents, Charles E. Austin and Martha H. Austin (Wheeler). He is survived by: his children, Tina Stoyer (Dan) of Hawley, Amy DeFazio (Francis) of Hawley, Bruce D. Austin Jr. (Deborah) of Paupack and Christopher Austin (Lynette) of Lakeville; his grandchildren, David, Ryan Austin, Ashley Pierano, Jesse James, Jeremy Barrett, Devin, Jaden and Dylan DeFazio; and his siblings, Martha Frisbie of Matamoras, Paula Anderson of Arizona and John Austin of Calkins. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
