With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stephina I. Danko (Hawk Run, Pennsylvania), born in Philipsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 18, 2012 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Pollock and Anna Pollock (Coval); her son Jerome; her siblings, Margaret Pollock, Josephine Hanslovan, Matilda Patkalitsky, Hermena Belko, John and George Pollock; and her son-in-law Brian Ward.
She is survived by: her husband Frank A. Danko; her children, Brenda A. Ward of Hawk Run, PA and Bernard J. Danko (Shirley) of Duncannon, PA; her siblings, Helen Bordas of Philipsburg, PA and Lewis Pollock (Anne) of Munhall, PA.; and her grandchildren, Jeremy Danko (Amy) of Reading, PA, Michael Danko (Jennifer) of Glen Burnie, MD, Kenneth Danko (Jennifer) of Newport, PA, Melissa Lusk (Joshua) of King, Samantha of Hawk Run, PA, Jason of Hawk Run, PA, Thomas of Hawk Run, PA and Allison Ward of Hawk Run, PA. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
