It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Ray Reader (Hawk Run, Pennsylvania), born in Tyrone, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 15, 2014, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Reader and Dena Reader (Snyder); his son James Reader; his granddaughter Alicia Reader; and his siblings, Alfred, Roy Reader and Dorothy Dillon.
He is survived by: his wife Ida Irene Rech; his father-in-law Julius "Gus" Rech of Gus Manufacturing; his children, Peggy Custred (Tom) of Smoke Run, PA, Don Reader of Lake Worth, FL, Dan Reader (Tracy) of Houtzdale, PA, Steve Reader (Roxanne) of Houtzdale, PA, Bill Reader (Olga) of Miami, FL and Rob Reader (Cindy) of Houtzdale, PA; and his brother Fred Reader of Altoona, PA.. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
