He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew J. Vavreck and Barbara F. Vavreck (Rusnak); and his siblings, Elizabeth "Betty" Kushner, Josephine Vavreck, Barbara "Bert" Sedlak, Agnes Kolosky, Marie Tarbay, Anne, Joseph "Joe" Vavreck and Andrew "Andy" Vavreck.
He is survived by: his stepson Andrew N. Vavreck (Peggy Shipley) of Port Matilda; his stepgrandchildren, Cecilia Vavreck of Lock Haven and Alex Vavreck of Pittsburgh; and his siblings, Erie (Bernadette Johnson) and Martin "Marty" Vavreck (Joanne) of Westerville, Ohio. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
